Nutrition: Should your dog eat human food?  The answer is both yes and no.

Unless you plan on having your dog wear a Size XXXL Sweater this year, hamburgers, french fries, potato chips & junk food are “out” for your dog.

However, there are other people foods that will make your dog beam in good health.  In the wild, dogs are naturally carnivorous. In the process of catching their wild prey for dinner, they often will eat the stomach first because it can be loaded with broken down bits of plant, vegetable or fruit matter. Wild dogs instinctively know what is healthy for them.  The partially processed stomach matter makes that food easier for the dogs to digest.

Whenever you feed your dog vegetables or fruits, grind it or break it up.

The canine digestion system does not easily break down such things as whole vegetables and the more assistance you can give, the better.
