Q. Where are you located?

A. We are located in Woodinville, but we are closer to Redmond. Most of our customers come from Redmond, Kirkland and Bellevue.

Q, Why do you specialize in small dogs only?

A. Small dogs and big dogs don’t always get along well,  so we specialize in small dogs to give them a place to stay where they can always feel safe.  However, our training & grooming are open to dogs of all sizes.

Q. Where do the dogs sleep?

A. The dogs have a special sleeping room where they have soft, snuggly beds, air conditioning/heat, soft music, and a fireplace. They watch Animal Planet on TV in the evenings and get a treat before bed each night.

Q. What do we bring?

A. Bring your dog, his food and any treats you want him to have. You’ll also need to bring a vet record showing your dog is current on shots. We have everything else your dog might need, so please don’t bring leashes, dog dishes, toys, blankets, or beds.

Q. My dog is on a special diet. Is this a problem?

A. We separate the dogs at feeding time to make sure that each dog gets the correct type and quantity of food.

Q. My dog has a favorite bed. Can I bring it?

A. As we cannot guarantee that another dog won’t jump on your dog’s bed, we prefer that you don’t bring a bed from home. We have lots of warm, clean, and comfortable beds and we are constantly replacing them with new beds. We guarantee your dog will be comfortable even without his favorite bed.

Q. What are your drop off and pick up hours?

A. We are open weekdays from 8-9am and 4-6pm; Saturdays 8-9am and 5-6pm, plus Sunday evenings from 5-6pm.  We are closed to pick up and drop off during holidays (see below).

Q. Are you open on holidays?

A. We are open for boarding every day of the year.  However, we are closed to drop off and pick up during major holidays.  See our Holidays page for a complete list of holiday closures.

Q. What are you payment options? Can we pay by credit card?

A. We accept payment by personal check or cash.  We do not accept credit cards.

Q. Do we pay at drop off or at pick up?

A. You pay when you pick your dog up.  We’ll give you an estimate of your fee when you drop your dog off.
If you are a new customer, we will ask for a payment in advance the first time you board with us.

Q. Do you discount for extended stays?

A. Yes, we discount for continuous stays of 15 days or longer.  If you are going to be away for an extended period, your dog will be safe and comfortable here.  We are one of only a few kennel and cage free dog boarders on the Eastside.

Q. We have several dogs. Do we get a discount?

A. We offer a discount for multiple dogs from the same family.

Q. My dog is very shy and afraid. I am hesitant about leaving him. Will he be okay?

A. If your dog is shy, Doggie Care Resort is the best place for your dog, either for the day or for an extended period.  We are certified trainers and will work with your dog, helping him to become more comfortable.  Your dog might arrive shy, but he will likely leave with his tail wagging and with a calm, happy face.

A. Yes, we’d love to have you visit us before your dog comes to stay. We’d like to show you how we are different from our competitors.  Please bring your dog with you.  Just Contact Us and schedule a preview visit!
